It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judy Higgins of Grants Pass, Oregon, born in Endicott, Washington, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Judy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Judy is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Cook and Margie Cook of Spokane, Washington.. She is survived by: her husband Barney Higgins; her children, Troy Higgins of Eagle Point, Bruce Higgins of Medford and Lori Higgins-Craw (Wimer) of Rogue River; and her sisters, Phyllis Huff and Patty Lux. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She worked alongside her family for many years at their family-owned business "Jack's Meat & Deli" then at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk – Coconut Grove then worked in human resources at the Santa Cruz Medical Foundation.
