She was predeceased by: her father Robert Alva; her husband Milford Leroy Bowers; her mother Esther "Pauline" Tenney (Beal); her son Wayne Bowers; and her siblings, Dorothy Long and Floyd Tenney.
She is survived by: her children, Lyla June Clements of Tooele, Utah, Mark Leroy Bowers of Hansville, Washington, Matt Robert Bowers of Merlin, Oregon and Milford Leroy Bowers Jr. of Medford, Oregon.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hull & Hull Funeral Directors (612 NW A St, Grants Pass, OR 97526). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Merlin Community Baptist Church (361 Galice Rd, Merlin, OR 97532). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hawthorne Memorial Gardens (2500 Upper River Rd, Grants Pass, OR 97526).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her honor.
