He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Lampert-Dodge and Albert E. Lampert of Glendale, Oregon.; and his brother Dale Lampert. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dexter; and his siblings, David, Albert Lampert and Mary Mehl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for research in Esophageal Cancer.
