He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fay Eathern Throop and Susie Elizabeth Bergstrom; his daughter Katherine Estelle Anderson; his siblings, Earl LeRoy Throop, Ruth Maxine Jantzen and Pearl Dollene Jamerson; his wife Frances Mae Throop; and his sons, Jasen Wade Jacobsen and Kyle Fay Throop.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association/Oregon Chapter.
