It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol LaMae Thompson (Gresham, Oregon), born in Beresford, South Dakota, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carol's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Edblom and Alice Edblom; her husband Bob; and her son Greg. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Larry), Nancy (Dan) and Sara (Scott). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
