In loving memory of Lois E. (Rugland) Swalve Boland of Gresham, Oregon, who departed this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Lois leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus Rugland and Grace Rugland (Waterbury); her husbands, Marvin Swalve and Bill Boland; and her siblings, Ralph Rugland and Doris Burton.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Kirby; her grandchildren, Josh Kirby, Juli Kirby and Whitney Kirby Berger; and her great grandchildren, Hattie Kirby of Portland, Oregon., Jack Kirby of Portland, Oregon., Anna Berger of Portland, Oregon. and John Berger of Portland, Oregon.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burke Tubbs Funeral Home - Forreston (203 3rd Ave, Forreston, IL 61030).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her honor.
