It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maryella Bowder Tierney of Gresham, Oregon, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorna Velguth and George Velguth. She is survived by: her sister Sylvia; her husband D. Frank Bowder, Jr.; her friend Father Charles Zach; her former husband James Tierney; her grandson Taro; her close friend Dick Lutz; and her children, Dewitt, Theresa, Valerie, Richard and Douglas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
