He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rich and Faye Rich (Johnson); his wife Carol Rich (Thomas); his sons, William Rich Jr. and John Rich; his grandson Tom Downey; and his siblings, Lorraine, Georgia and Walter Rich (Bud).
He is survived by: his daughter Fay Rich; his grandchild Richie Rich; his stepchildren, Evelyn Downey, Edward Downey and Paulette Hall; and his siblings, Gary Rich and Rita Polson (Rich).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Willamette National Cemetery (8098 SE 112th Ave, Portland, OR 97266). The military honors will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either The Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church 1740 SE 139th Ave., Portland, OR 97233, or The American Heart Association, or The American Cancer Society, in Bill and Carol's.
