She was predeceased by: her father Walter Christian. She is survived by: her mother Frances Christian; her sister Patricia Abbott; her husband Dennis Foraker; her sons, Mark Foraker (Digna Balao) of Eugene and Thomas Foraker (Olivia Foraker) of Spartanburg, SC.; and her grandchildren, Mercedes Laster and Shayleigh Foraker.
She graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1960 and went on to attend the Kaiser Foundation School of Nursing in Oakland, Ca., and later completed her Master Degree in Public Administration in 1987 from the University of San Francisco.
