With sadness, we share the passing of Michael F. Doherty of Heppner, Oregon. Michael, born on May 28, 1953, passed away on August 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Doherty and Marjorie; his father-in-law Jerry Martin; and his granddaughter Delanie Doherty. He is survived by: his wife Cindi; his children, Chad Doherty (Alicia), Adam Doherty and Kylie Simpkins (Kyle); his mother-in-law Ione Martin; and his grandchildren, Bridget Wizner, Lylian Doherty and Malcolm Simpkins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Heppner Elks Lodge (142 N Main St, Heppner, OR 97836).
