The passing of Joanne I Kosmos of Hermiston, Oregon, born in Walla Walla, Washington leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her mother Vernita Ellen Reeder (Molstrom); her husband Tom Kosmos; her father Herbert Reeder; and her brother Raymond Reeder. She is survived by: her children, Joanna Marikos (John), Demetrios Kosmos and Matthew Kosmos (Tracey); her brother Donald Reeder; and her grandchildren, Joshua (Citlalli), Codey, Connar and Degan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W Hermiston Ave, Hermiston, OR 97838). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olney Cemetery (865 Tutuilla Rd, Pendleton, OR 97801). A reception will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Roosters Restaurant.
