Joice Overton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joice Overton in Hermiston, Oregon, born in Payette, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hunsucker and Leona Hunsucker (McGinnis); her husband William "Bill" Overton; and her siblings, Eugene and Babe.
She is survived by: her children, Sonny Rider of Umatilla, OR, Lance Rider of Twisp, WA, Paul Rider of Stanfield, OR and Kathern Ford of Hermiston, OR; and her brother Johnnie Hunsucker of Reedsport, OR. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
