Alberta Peterson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alberta Peterson in Hillsboro, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alberta leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Alberta may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband John; her daughters, Margaret Montgomery of Seattle, Charlie Peterson of Long Beach and Connie Carr of Corvallis; and her grandchildren, Emily Zamanpour, Andy Peterson, Oliver Carr and Avery Carr.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (114 SW 8th St, Corvallis, OR 97333). It wasn't until COVID hit that she moved to Hillsboro to live with Connie's family. She was a gracious and wonderful housemate and it was in these years that we all discovered her love of dogs, most notably, our COVID puppy, Roux.
