With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Camenzind of Hillsboro, Oregon, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Herbert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Herbert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Camenzind and Marie Camenzind (Fischer). He is survived by: his wife Lavilla Spooner; his children, Carol Holden (Steve Howard), Kathy (Mike Watson), Tony (Amy Camenzind) and Sandy (Chad Humphrey); and his sister Rose Newton of Hillsdale. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
