With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Marie Long (Hillsboro, Oregon), who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jean shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jean farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Long (Dale); and her son Steven D. Long. She is survived by: her children, Mary (Neal) and Matthew; her grandchildren, Krissy and Sean; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Christian and Ruen; her brother Patrick (Jean); and her nephew Michael (Lisa). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Duyck & VanDeHey Funeral Home (3615 NE John Olsen Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Union Point Cemetery (41500 NW Banks Rd, Banks, OR 97106).
