He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Newby and Dona Newby (Orme). He is survived by: his wife Lorna Newby (Duyck); his children, Alan (Charlene Newby), Eric (Elizabeth Newby), Julia (Wesley Cook), Laura Newby of Lake Oswego, OR and Sean Wagoner of Beaverton, OR.; and also, Heather Jackson of Hillsboro, OR and Hilary.
A funeral service was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Brookwood (282 NE 32nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124). A reception was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints - Brookwood (282 NE 32nd Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124). A burial was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the FIR Lawn Cemetery (1070 W Main St, Hillsboro, OR 97124).
