He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Verboort and Marie Verboort (Sahlfeld); his siblings, Betsy Bochsler (Verboort) and William Verboort; and his parents-in-law, Homer Ackerman and Ruth Ackerman Padgett (King).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Verboort; his close friends, James Verboort (Yvonne King), Julianna Verboort (Scott MacHaffie), Rachel Lewis (Darren Lewis), Laura Hancock (Scott Hancock), Camille Verboort (Greg Cowley) and Peter Verboort (Merri Verboort); and his grandson Richard. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
