He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chauncey Bowden Sr. and Alice Bowden; his siblings, William Chauncey Jr., Leslie, Duane and Williana; his daughter Cindy Wolff; his great grandchild Oscar; and his parents-in-law, Merton and Esther Ward of Edmunds, Maine..
He is survived by: his significant other Marjorie Ward; his children, Farrell Bowden (Debbie), David Bowden (Karen), Myssi Sandstrom (Darrin), Amanda York (Joe) of Henderson Nevada and Jamie Cox (Michael) of Vineyard Utah; his stepchildren, Matthew Moores (Sam) of Burns and Rachel Gifford of Oregon City, Oregon.; and his brother Lee Carlson (Donna). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (600 Saginaw Ave N, Hines, OR 97738).
