He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Burnham and Estelle Burnham; his sister Phyllis; and his daughter Tami. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bidwell; his daughter Erin; his son-in-law Jeff Blackman; his grandchildren, Corbett Blackman, Robin Meyer, Maggie Ruiz (Alex), Christopher Meyer (Tiffany) and Jason Meyer (Brooke); and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Iris, Lilly, Logan, Hazel, Kasen, Korbin and Kory.
He exhibited his work at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, donating the proceeds from the sale of his paintings to the PHRMH Foundation.
