He was predeceased by: his parents, Govert Vercouteren and Esther Vercouteren (Ochs); and his aunt Elsie Fasse. He is survived by: his wife Jean Vercouteren (Anderson); his brothers, Peter and Robert Vercouteren; his children, Kristine Dombroski (John Dombroski) and Jacob Vercouteren; his grandson Jodecy Vercouteren; and his son David Timmers of Belgium. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
