It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brent B Bode (Independence, Oregon), born in Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Karen Sue Reid. He is survived by : his children, Aimée Whitney (Matt) of Salem, OR and Travis Bode (Amy) of Turner, OR; his sisters, Janice Spielman (Ray) of Gaston, OR and Paula Runnells (Jim Oravetz) of Newberg, OR; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Shoshawna, Leslie, Alyssa and Kailee; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Henley, Kailyn, Emery and Adelayn.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Farnstrom Mortuary (410 Monmouth St, Independence, OR 97351). A committal service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the FIR Crest Cemetery (7925 Helmick Rd, Monmouth, OR 97361).
