With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Howard Pope (Independence, Oregon), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Howard left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Howard leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bud and Myrtle V. Pope. He is survived by: his wife Judy; and his children, Craig (Dina), Lynn, Robin, Teri (Roy), Lisa (Lee) and Dyan. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Villa Barn (3215 Independence Hwy, Independence, OR 97351).
