With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Jean Gerity in Jacksonville, Oregon, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Bill Hyde; and her siblings, Jerry Pawlowski and Betty McGinty. She is survived by: her former husband William Robinson Hyde; her husband Tom Gerity; her stepdaughters, Kate and Collie; her granddaughters, Julie and Jill; her children, Pam Emra, Hank Hyde and David Hyde; Senator. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SnowCap Community Services or Zarepath Kitchen and Pantry in Gresham, Oregon, continuing Carol's legacy of kindness and community support.
