We announce the death of Gareth Jacobson of Junction City, Oregon, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 74. Gareth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reid Jacobson and Patricia Jacobson; his sister Debra Reed; his son Kyle; and his grandchildren, Bodean, Marshall and Daisha.

He is survived by: his wife Debbi; his children, Andrea (Craig), Nick (Joanie), Derek (Amanda) and Justin; his daughter-in-law Cara Aguilar; his grandchildren, Tyrel (Alex), Keenan, Madelynn (Issac), Katelynn (Gage), Hadassah, Raelynn, Trey, Wyatt, Orrin, Sadie, Zoey, Carter, Clay, Nell and Ellie; his great grandchildren, Tripp and Loretta; and his brothers, Jeff (Shaunda) and Mike (Nikki).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knappa High School Cross Country Team or Global Tier Helping Hands Cambodia in Gary Jacobson's memory.
