He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Mervin Wilson and Thelma Wilson; his siblings, Jean DeJong (Fred DeJong) and John Scholten; his brother-in-law Clayton Frampton; and his grandson Julian Scholten.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Wilson of Sheldon; his children, Gaylon Scholten (Leone) of St. Petersburg, Brian Scholten of Tacoma Washington, Bruce Scholten (Kerri) of Ashton Iowa and Amanda Kliever (Biff Kliever) of Waxahachie, Texas; his grandchildren, Tory Scholten, Lawrence Johnson, Courteney Sinada (Jamal), Jordyn Coakley (Alex), Alex Elwell (Lydia), Sadie Elwell and Addison Elwell; and his siblings, Eleanor (John Ver Burg) of Cutlerville, Elmer Scholten (Evelyn) of Jenison, Michigan, Sheila Frampton of Junction City, Terry (Cindy Wilson) and Pam (Larry Starmer). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
