He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Novacek and Gretchen Willamena Rockenfeller; his half-sister Karen; and his niece Debbie Tippets. He is survived by: his sister Hannah Bishop of Salem, Oregon; and his nieces, Mary Anne Jacobson of Sequim and Cheryll Hamilton of Huntington Beach.
