She was predeceased by : her parents, Max Mewhinney and Patricia Mewhinney; her daughter Rhonda Halonen; and her brother Richard Schuening. She is survived by : her children, Patsy Buckley of Reno, Bill Halonen of Webster and Zelda Schmid of Keizer; her cousins, Anne, Pat, Edie, Judy and Beverly; and her sister Marthella Adams. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
