We announce the death of Verna Christine Bachmeier (Keizer, Oregon), who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 90. Verna’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Henry and Lena Leota Fiscus (Atwell); and her son Bryon. She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Bachmeier (Diane) of Yuma, Arizona, Rosemarie Carleton (Russ) of Salem, Oregon, Frances Huffman (David) of Aumsville, Oregon, Brenda Wylie (Chris) of Salem and Kimberly Knop (Scott) of Benson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keizer Funeral Chapel (4365 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
