He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Overhage. He is survived by: his daughters, Kirsten Pedrosa and Lindsay Overhage; his granddaughter Claire Pedrosa; his brothers, Marc Overhage and Eric Overhage; and his mother Mary Lou Overhage.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Joyce Furman Memorial Endowment for Head and Neck Oncology at the OHSU Foundation, fund 17138, which will aid in the establishment of an endowed professorship in otolaryngology for head and neck cancers.
