She was predeceased by : her husband Joe A. Alston; her son Jimmie; and her brothers, Masakazu, Katsuyoshi, Tatsuo and Shozo.
She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Shirazi and Nancy Alston-Linné (Ted Linné); her grandchildren, Joe R. Alston, Jesse L. Alston, Kyle Alston, Mohammad Shirazi, Nadar Shirazi, Karli A. Linné and Marcus J. Linné; and her sister Ikuko Machida.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to A Living Tribute (https://shop.alivingtribute.org), where a tree will be planted in Donna's honor in the beautiful forests of Oregon.
