He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom D. Carlson and Esther G. Dick Carlson. He is survived by: his children, Randy Carlson (Emma) of Tucson, AZ, Scott Carlson (Miriam) of Stanhope, IA, Tom Carlson (Audrey) of Tucson, AZ and Jolene Trost (Bob) of Dallas, OR; and his brother Keith Carlson of Stratford, IA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank (http://www.klamathfoodbank.org) where Garwin donated fruit and garden produce and volunteered for years.
