She was predeceased by: her father Frank Kerns; her stepfather Daniel Cox; her grandparents, Mildred Barnes and Loyd Barnes; and her aunt Linda Richesin.
She is survived by: her mother Debra Smith (Barnes) of La Grande, OR; her husband David Hardesty of Pendleton, OR; her brothers, Daniel Cox of La Grande, OR and Chrstopher Cox of La Grande, OR; and her aunts and uncles, Philip, Mike, Sandy and Liz. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (601 S 20th St, La Grande, OR 97850). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 2111 Cove Ave, La Grande, OR 97850.
