It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Caplette of Lakeview, Oregon, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Caplette and Rachel Caplette (Lachance); and his brother Ronald Caplette. He is survived by: his wife Dawna; his children, Amanda Anderson (Tony), Amber Daws (Casey) of Lakeview, OR and Joey Caplette of Lakeview, OR.; his grandchildren, Hailey Stogsdill Anderson, Steven Anderson, Emma Anderson, Merritt Jungmann, Jace Daws and Elliana Daws; his stepgranddaughters, Briley Daws and Harper Daws; and his siblings, Marie King, Sheila Cordeiro, Christine Palin, Pete Caplette, Paul Caplette, Philip Caplette and Kevin Caplette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Eagles Lodge.
