He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Byron Cooley and Marcelle Dale Thompson (Coffield); his sons, Steven (Kim), Michael (Bobbie) and Patrick; his wife Gerry Lanigan; his granddaughters, Kelsey, Lauren (Alan), Sara and Kristin (Ben); and his brother Jerry (Kathy). He was also cherished by seven great grandchildren.
