He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Bastedo and Pearl Bastedo (Porter); and his siblings, Gene "Bass" Bastedo and Janet. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Parker; his children, Darlene and Paul (Lucy); his stepchildren, Rhonda Rowe (Scott) and Rick Cahill (Danita); and his brother Dewey Bastedo. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren.
