He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen E. James (Ernst) and Donald James (Nelson); his wife Betty (Elizabeth A. Starr); and his son Mark. He is survived by: his children, Gale, Teri and John; and his grandchildren, Matt, Janna, Gabrielle and Lori. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
