He is survived by: his wife Barbra Enearl; his children, Linda Estergard (Thad), Karla Reerslev (John), Michael Estergard (Lacey) and Susan Washington (Miron); his grandchildren, Asha, Nathan, Madeline, Wubit, Hans, Camille, Hana, Netsanet, Selamawit, Blen, Bishop and Nia; and his great grandchildren, Nyla, Renley, Asher, Eliora, Wade and Finn.
