She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Carper and Lula Carper (Barton); her husband Lonnie L. Doud; her son Randy; and her grandson Marvin Scott Thompson (Scotty).
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Garrett Gould, Sylvia Marcella Thompson Langerman and Sherry Zimmerman. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
