The memory of Dale Alan Koch (McMinnville, Oregon), who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Dale Alan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dale Alan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parent Ezra Koch (Hanni Koch); and his brother Dean. He is survived by: his children, Edan Koch of Portland, OR and Kyrissa Gieszler (Tyson) of Denver, CO; and his siblings, Douglas Koch (Maureen) of Cambridge, MA, David Koch of McMinnville, OR and Kathi Costa of Beaverton, OR. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Aviation Museum (500 NE Captain Michael King Smith Way, McMinnville, OR 97128). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse (4045 NE Cornelius Pass Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97124).
