He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Herrling and Janet Herrling; his sisters, Mariann and Janet Mae; his son Curtis; and his grandson Sean.
He is survived by: his wife Mickey Herrling; his daughters, Kathryn McNally (Rian) and Teresa Fine (Del); and his stepchildren, Jackie Boarman (Joe) and Joe Mollahan (Tani). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
