“John and his wife Ruth, who predeceased him, were our children's Godparents. They were always supportive of our family and Calvary Presbyterian Church in Portland, Oregon. John served as the choir director for many years. Music was one of his loves. I believe he lived out his faith in actions, more than words. He loved and served his Lord and Savior, Jesus the King of Kings. Then he loved his wife and children; Patrick, Geoffrey, and Stephen. Marilyn was his second wife, and loves them all.”
