It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boyd R. Powers (Medford, Oregon), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Boyd R. Powers to pay them a last tribute.
As Boyd departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Boyd may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Boyd leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam and Vera; and his son David Powers. He is survived by: his wife Betty Powers; his children, Dianne Powers, Boyd S. Powers and J. Mark Powers; and his siblings, Millie Salyer and Gary Powers. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Siskiyou Memorial Park (2100 Siskiyou Blvd, Medford, OR 97504).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Convoy of Hope, designated for the Texas flood survivors.
