Though JoAnn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those JoAnn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Taub and Dorothy Taub; and her brother Alan Taub. She is survived by: her daughters, Julie and Abbey (Peter Steinhouse); her granddaughters, Ruth and Pearl Steinhouse; and her pets, Omar and Cash.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Emek Shalom (1800 E Main St, Ashland, OR 97520).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joann's memory to Temple Emek Shalom.
