Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schaffner and Dorothy Schaffner (Slater); and her sister Teresa Slater. She is survived by: her husband John of Umapine; her sons, Andrew Higginson of Belton, Texas, Gregory Schaffner of Boise, Idaho and Michael Plapp of Loma Linda, California; and her brother Steven Schaffner of Sandpoint. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
