He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Robert Gelder; and his granddaughter-in-law Melissa Torres Gray. He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his brother Duane Lauber (Lita); his daughters, Patty Swantek (Mark) and Joan Gelder; his grandchildren, Ryan Gray, Nathan Gelder (Mindy) and Trisha Morales (Manuel); and his great grandchildren, Mason, Bennett, Jackson Gray, Raven, Reef, Sky Gelder and Dahlia Morales.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Silverton United Methodist Church (203 W Main St, Silverton, OR 97381).
