She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Kahut and Rose Kahut; and her siblings, Jeanette Schindler, Lorene Hassing, Vera Bernt, Glenn, Milton and Marvin.
She is survived by : her husband Max Ruef; and her children, Pam Groomes (Larry), Patty Smith (Stu), Julie Parra (Rigo), Joe Ruef (Darcy), Susie Charpilloz (Mike), Cherie Bielenberg (Steve) and Jeff Ruef (Toni). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Childrens Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
