Richard A. DeSantis Obituary
We announce the death of Richard A. DeSantis (Mount Angel, Oregon), who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert DeSantis and Mary DeSantis (Martin); his siblings, Tom, Larry and Julie; his siblings-in-law, Bill, Wayne, Linda and Irene; his great grandchild Milo; Becky.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Huffstutter (Patty); and his children, Martin of Salem, Amy Carey (Ken) of Stayton, Jennifer Springer (David) of Silverton and Angela Fleshman (Chris) of Silverton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (575 E College St, Mt Angel, OR 97362). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery (12988-13034 Hobart Rd NE, Silverton, OR 97381).
