With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Sturgill of Myrtle Point, Oregon, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Irvin Sturgill and Annie Belle Pilkenton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Joe Jr., Deanna, Donna, Norman, Michael, Joseph, John and Bobbie; and his grandsons, Danny and Johnathan. He is also survived by his 4 daughters-in-law; numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Coos Bay Chapel (685 Anderson Ave, Coos Bay, OR 97420). A reception will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Coos Bay Eagles Lodge 568 (568 S 2nd St, Coos Bay, OR 97420).
