He is survived by: his parents, Robert Winn Shelby and June Lorraine Shelby; his wife Anita Shelby; and his children, Edward David Shelby of Beaverton, OR, Jessica Lynn Palma of Newport, OR and Kelsey Nauta of Lake Oswego, OR..
