She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Barendse and Karolina Barendse (Carrie); her husband Bill Dixon; her son Scott Mathews; and her stepchildren, Billy Gene Dixon and Gwen Carlton.
She is survived by: her stepson Randy Dixon (Kathy) of North Bend, Oregon; and her siblings, Nella Hoffer of Union City, California, Velma Burkert of Canby, Oregon and Ron Barendse of Gresham, Oregon.. She is also survived by several other stepchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
